Drew mastered the craft of project management by building more than 100 homes. These experiences contribute to his understanding of complex design challenges and the uncompromising rigor of project finance. He has the staying power to see multi-year projects from conceptual design to flawless delivery.
“I try to see a project through my client’s eyes,” Drew says. “I love building homes that people will spend the most important moments of their lives in. I want every step of the process to be fun for them.”
In addition, he is an award-winning business professional who has fostered the growth of Hammerwell to include a curated staff of dedicated project managers. He coordinated expansion to a field office in Salida, Colorado. His egalitarian business style and inclusive leadership ethic, garners the respect of everyone on his team, both inside and outside Hammerwell. Drew has challenged the Hammerwell staff to up their game with the skills to build the exceptional homes of the future. His team is the only one to be fully Certified Passive House Tradespeople in Colorado.
Drew worked early in his career with upscale build-outs of high-rise apartments before shifting to custom luxury homes. He took the helm of Hammerwell when founder, Rich Sands, suggested he was ready for retirement. He has grown Hammerwell’s scope so even more clients can experience his personal brand of dedication to quality.
In his off-time he is a father of three boys and contributes his time to coach many sports teams. As a Colorado native, he revels in sharing the outdoors with his young family.
